Full Snow Moon

Usually, the heaviest snow falls this month. Hunting becomes very difficult, and hence to some tribes, this was the Full Hunger Moon.

Also known in some cultures as The Snow Moon, this time reflects patience and restraint. It is a reminder that healing is a quiet process. Rest is necessary before the return of spring.

Practice Ideas

  • Emotional Release Ritual:

    • Write down frozen emotions or grief.

    • Let the moonlight touch your skin.

    • Speak your release or burn the paper (safely) to symbolize letting go.

  • Meditation & Stillness:

    • Quiet walk under the moon for grounding and reflection.

    • Meditation focused on inner calm and letting go of what no longer serves.

  • Creative Expression:

    • Journaling about your authentic self and desires.

  • Self-Care:

    • Cozy night in with warm drinks and relaxation.

    • Scents like Rosemary & Lemon for new beginnings.
