Lughnasadh (or Lúnasa) is a Gaelic festival, traditionally held on August 1st, marking the beginning of the harvest season and the first fruits, celebrated with feasting, games, and crafts, and symbolizing the cycle of growth, sacrifice, and rebirth as the year turns towards winter. It's a time of gratitude for abundance, acknowledging the fruits of labor, and a significant point in the Celtic Wheel of the Year, also known as Lammas in English.
